Where can you find products to Promote:
There are hundreds of websites on the web that provides opportunities for new Affiliate Marketers. I am just going to mention the main ones here. (To learn more watch this video on youtube at your leisure).
How to get the Affiliate link:
Step 1:
Go to affiliate-program.amazon.co.uk and then if you don’t have an account, register and sign up for the program to become an affiliate.
Once you have registered and opened an account with amazon, you are now ready to start promoting.
Go through the category and decide what you want to promote. There are millions of products to choose from. Don’t let that scare you or put you off.
I want you to decide which market that you are going to focus, for example,
There are 3 evergreen markets that you can choose from, which are;
- Health
- Wealth
- Relationship
Within them are sub-markets and niches. (refer to image below).
As you can see from the above example that you need to niche down at least 3-4 levels down. (also called micro niche). What this means is that you’re targeting specific groups of people within the core market and industry.
Now you have to pay a lot of attention and take time to do this, as this will help you in your marketing campaigns in the future.
In order for you to ensure success in affiliate marketing, this task and process is fundamental. If you need to learn then go and learn it. WHATEVER YOU DO DON’T IGNORE THIS PROCESS!
Once you are certain which product you want to promote, you now have to get your unique link from amazon. To get the link, first install amazon site stripe from your associate account.
Once you have installed your site strip it will look something like this:
Trust me, do this early on in your affiliate marketing business, as this will save you a lot of time.
Now that we have got this out of the way, its now time to choose our products and get our affiliate link from amazon.
Click on the product that you chose to promote and then head on over to the left hand corner of your amazon web browser and click on “get link”… (See Below)
Once that’s done, you can now save this link on a note pad. You will need this to add your link on Pinterest.
One more task left before we head on over to Pinterest to upload our product image.
Download the image of your product from amazon and then head on over to Canva to design your pin. Canva is a free app that you can use on your desktop and smart phone.
With Canva you can design anything without any difficulty. There are 100s of tutorials on youtube which you can watch to learn more. Step 2: How to insert your link on Pinterest
Now that you have completed step one, it’s time to head on over to Pinterest. You must have an account with Pinterest, if you don’t have an account, now is the time to sign up it is free, you will need this to market your Affiliate Marketing Business in the near future.
Go to Pinterest and click on the sign up button.
Now follow the instructions and register your details to open an account.
Now that you have registered and have your account, you need to get your image that you designed on Canva and upload it as a pin.
Here’s how, on the left hand corner of your Pinterest dashboard you will see a dropdown menu called create. Click on this and scroll down where it says create pin. (Refer to image below):
You will be taken to the page where you can now upload your image and enter your Title and description and also add your affiliate link (important don’t forget this part). This is how it looks…
Complete this step and make sure to add your title. Ensure that you use the relevant title that attracts your reader, I am also doing this with you as I am writing this blog. Here is my example below:
That’s all you need to do! just “Hit” save Button now and “wala”…You just created you’re first pin.
Congratulations! Now sit back and share this on your social media platforms like: FB, Insta, Twitter and Tiktok. Now hopefully you will have a flood of people seeing your pin, make sure to double check everything like, have you inserted your amazon associates affiliate link.
